I just stopped believing in the internet. Seriously, I didn't get online hardly at all for a loooooong time. Anyways- BISHIE-CON IS IN LIKE A FRIGGIN' WEEK HOLY CRAP.
I've made like 20 new pieces of etched glass and Miss Bunny has been getting prints ready and crafting up some killer geek accessories. I'm actually looking forward to this convention. I hope it's fun since the last convention (TnT- UGH. We lost so much money TT____TT) was so incredibly not good and the one before that we just simply didn't get to enjoy because of family complications.
So, cross your fingers! Here's hoping that (once again) gay makes everything better!
Love, THWAQ

What's this? Mid-west yaoi-con?
So, uh, HOLY CRAP. There is a Boy Love convention for us in the mid-west and THWAQ is gonna be there, baby! Oh, yeah. We were all over that.
It's called "Bishie Con" and it's November 20-22 in St. Louis, MO. I hope all you fellow shounen-ai and yaoi fans come out to support this convention.
In other news we are making things for TnT next month and I'll try to get some pictures up here eventually.
Tokyo in Tulsa 2009
In just barely over two months the lovely ladies (and gentleman) of THWAQ will be at the 2009 Tokyo in Tulsa convention. We're hoping to premiere some new stuff at this show so be sure to stop by if you'll be anywhere near Tulsa, OK come July.
Update: Naka-Kon '09
Alright, Naka-Kon is now a meager 18 days away and we have been bee-you-ess-why. BUSY. We've been working on a lot of things for this convention. We've got a big cosplay group planned and we're trying to make the table better than ever.
I just posted some new glass designs. I would like to point out that what I posted is just a sample of what I made and that I'll have close to 40 pieces of glass wear for sale at the convention.
Also, since Naka-Kon is in my home town I'll be accepting at-con commissions. I can't wait to see everybody there!
Next Stop: NAKA-KON '09!
I know its still quite a while away (March 13-15), but our next appearance will be at Naka-kon. And I'm EXCiiiiiiiTED!
Izumi-kon was pretty slow business, and we're pretty sure we won't be attending '09's con. So we're in the market for another con for the fall season. Anyone know any good ones in the midwest???
